Degradation Description
The site was degraded by stormwater runoff, invasive species, and for years of the wetland had been treated as a junkyard. The surrounding upland is dominated by light industry and residential development. Much of the wetland was dominated by Phragmites australis, purple loosestrife and Japanese knotweed.
